On Wednesday 18 June Dr Birley came into school to talk about careers in medicine. She trained to be a Doctor at the University of Manchester and completed her junior doctor years in Newcastle. She came in to talk through becoming a doctor, the experience and application process for university and what opportunities have been opened up to her through her career.
