Dixons Newall Green Receives Awards!

Power2 provides students with consistent, personalised support from a trusted adult outside of their usual school environment, offering practical guidance and emotional encouragement It is proven to be a very effective programme for supporting young people who are struggling with their wellbeing and engagement with school and learning. Their one-to-one programmes provide personalised, practical and emotional help. They have made a really positive difference to our Year 8 students this year and we are looking forward to see how their impact can increase next year.
Hallie, a year 8 student at Dixons Newall Green recently received an award from Power2 in recognition of her successful completion of their mentoring programme.
Dixons Newall Green has also been named Power 2's School Partnership of the year for 2025, a fantastic recognition of the strong partnership and the positive impact this work is having on their students.
