Manchester Citizens - CAHMS meeting

On Tuesday 11 November, our school hosted a Manchester Citizens meeting with leaders of CAHMS. Five of our fabulous student council took part, giving testimony on their experience with mental health, introducing our school and timekeeping!

Following testimonies, we negotiated with the power holders around our three main asks.

End the CAHMS cliff edge.
A way of updating and tracking your position on the waiting list.
Attending our accountability assembly in June.

We were successful in our asks after very tough negotiations and our students contributed beautifully and professionally!

Our students involved were, Lydee S, Jonny B, Sian O, Alaina D and Tobias W. We are so proud of them!
