RNCM Young Explorers - Space, Stars and Video Games

Music and science collided when our students attended a concert at the Royal Northern College of Music. A full brass band performed iconic pieces like Holst’s The Planets, alongside the nostalgic charm of themes from E.T, Super Mario and Space Invaders. There were exciting science demonstrations in between performances and interesting insights about science, space, and music. The students tried their hand at playing the trombone and even had the opportunity to play arcade retro video games for a hands-on intergalactic experience.
