Extra-curricular

At Dixons Newall Green Academy, we offer a vibrant extra-curricular programme that allows students to pursue interests, develop new skills, and build friendships beyond the classroom. Clubs are led by dedicated staff volunteers and cater to a wide range of hobbies and passions.

All extra-curricular clubs are free for students, with timings varying depending on the activity. Students should refer to the extra-curricular timetable for up-to-date information, and registers are taken at every session to ensure safety and well-being.

Our extra-curricular programme complements the curriculum, helping students grow as individuals, develop cultural capital, and make lasting contributions to the school community. Whether through sports, creative arts, academic clubs, or leadership opportunities, every student can get involved, discover new talents, and make a positive impact.

Through our enrichment programme, we want students to become stronger in body and mind so that they can become well-rounded young people, destined to make a special contribution to the world we live and share.

Our enrichment programme takes students beyond their everyday experiences and to the edge of their comfort zone. We seek to prepare students to be independent, resilient, life-long learners.
